A Royal Fusiliers 4th City of London Regiment marching snare drum; the painted brass shell bearing a city of London coat of arms, adorned with battle/campaign honours for Neuve Chapelle, Ypres (1915, 17), Festubert (1915), The Somme (1916, 18), Arras (1917-18), Bullecourt, Cambrai (1917-18), Canal Du Nord, Sambre, Gallipoli (1915-16) and South Africa (1900), calfskin drumhead with rope tension system, gut snares, paintwork signed K. Nicholls, makers mark for Geroge Potter & Co., Aldershot, 38cm diameter, 39cm tall.
