A Royal Artillery East Riding Heavy Brigade marching snare drum; the painted brass shell bearing the royal motto "Dieu et mon droit", the military motto "Honi soit qui mal y pense" and the historic regimental mottos "Quo fas et gloria ducunt" and "Ubique", calfskin drumhead with rope tension system, gut snares, paintwork signed K. Nicholls, makers mark for George Potter & Co., Aldershot, 38cm diameter, 40cm tall.
