South Wales Borderers marching snare drum; the painted brass shell depicting Red Dragon of Wales, adorned with battle/campaign honours for South Africa (1900-01), calfskin drumhead with rope tension system, gut snares, paintwork signed K. Nicholls, makers mark for A.F. Matthews Ltd., London, 37cm diameter, 40cm tall, offered together with two more snare drums, brass shells, makers marks for Riviere & Hawkes, London and A.F. Matthews Ltd., London.
