Two Salvation Army marching snare drums; the first for The Hemel Hempstead Citadel Band, Corps no. 488, modern lugs and snare tension screws, calfskin drumheads, 38cm diameter 36cm tall, the second for Grays Band, Corps no. 592, modern lugs and snare tension screws, gut snares, Remo and Premier drumheads, interior label from George Potter & Co., Aldershot, 37cm diameter 33cm tall, both of the painted shells bearing their motto "Blood and fire".
