A 2nd Battalion The King's Regiment (Liverpool) marching snare drum; the painted brass shell depicting a white horse of Hanover with the military motto "Nec aspera terrent", adorned with battle/campaign honours for Festubert (1915), Loos, Somme (1916, 18), Messines (1917), Ypres (1917), The Somme (1916-18) and Cambrai (1917), calfskin drumhead with rope tension system, gut snares, paintwork signed K. Nicholls, makers mark for Henry Potter & Co., London, 37cm diameter, 40cm tall.
