A 1st Battalion The Gordon Highlanders marching tenor drum; the painted wood shell depicting the regimental badge of a stag over their motto "Bydand", adorned with extensive battle/campaign honours for Mysore, Corruna, Pyrenees, Lucknow, Kabul, Waterloo, Nile (1884-85), Seringapatam, Defence of Ladysmith, Vittoria, South Africa (1899-1902), Peninsula, Marne (1914, 18), Ypres (1914, 15, 17), The Somme (1917, 18), Arras (1917-18) calfskin drumheads with rope tension system, 48cm diameter 35cm tall.
