Two marching snare drums relating to The Buffs; the first for 2nd Battalion The Buffs, the painted brass shell bearing their famous Dragon badge with the motto "Invicta" and their regimental motto "Veteri frondescit honore", makers mark for Henry Potter & Co., London and a badge for George Potter & Co., Aldershot, paintwork signed K. Nicholls, 38cm diameter 39cm tall, the second for the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada, The Buffs Allied with K R RC, the unpainted brass shell bearing the motto "In pace paratus", calfskin drumheads with rope tension system, gut snares, 38cm diameter 39cm tall, both adorned with extensive battle/campaign honous, totalling 56 across both drums, offered together with Manual for the Drums, 2nd Battalion The Buffs.
