Two Military marching bass drums for Yorkshire Regiments; one for Alexandra Princess of Wales's Own Yorkshire Hussars Imperial Yeomanry, and another for 1st Volunteer Battalion Prince of Wales's Own West Yorkshire Regiment, painted mahogany shells, both bearing the Prince of Wales Imperial Feathers with the motto "ich dien", the latter bearing the royal motto "Dieu et mon droit" and the military motto "Honi soit qui mal y pense", both adorned with battle/campaign honours, the first for South Africa (1900-02), the second for Nec Aspera Terrent and India, calfskin drumheads with rope tension system, the former with makers mark for Henry Potter & Co., London, 64cm diameter & 32cm tall, 76cm diameter & 43cm tall respectively, offered together with a pair of beaters.
