A Kashmir Bodyguard Cavalry marching snare drum; the painted brass shell depicting the Suryavanshi royal crest, an anthropomorphised sun with a tilak, above a dynastic motto, calfskin drumhead with rope tension system, gut snares, paintwork signed K. Nicholls, makers mark for Henry Potter & Co., London, also stamped A.O. Windsor, Birmingham, 37cm diameter, 42cm tall.
