Matthews Ltd., London, stamped no. 1453 and dated 1948, calfskin drumhead with rope tension system, gut snares, paintwork signed K. Nicholls, 38cm diameter 40cm tall, the second for Royal Marines Volunteer Boys' Corps, the painted birch shell bearing their motto "be worthy", Remo drumheads with modern lugs and a purely aesthetic rope tension look, missing its snares, made by Premier Drums, 38cm diameter 39cm tall.
