A Royal Marines 41st Commando marching tenor drum; the painted mahogany shell bearing the name of the famed elite unit of the Royal Marines, the 41st Commando earned distinction accross many battles and daring assaults, particularly in the Second World War and the Korean War, also bearing the Royal Marines motto "Per Mare, Per Terram" and a royal coat of arms with the royal motto "Dieu et mon droit" and the military motto "Honi soit qui mal y pense", calfskin drumheads with rope tension system, makers mark for Henry Potter & Co., London, 49cm diameter 40cm tall, offered together with a pair of drum sticks.
