An Aspatria Town Band marching bass drum; the painted mahogany shell bearing the royal motto "Dieu et mon droit" and the military motto "Honi soit qui mal y pense", calfskin drumhead with rope tension system, the aged paintwork rendering the makers mark unclear, 83cm diameter, 46cm tall.
