Henry Adams Auctioneers are requested, without legal obligation of any kind, to bid on the following lots up to the figure stated. I agree with your usual conditions of sale. I understand that in the case of a successful bid a premium of 20% plus VAT at the prevailing rate will be payable on the hammer price. I also understand that for some lots, VAT at the prevailing rate will also be charged. Such lots are marked with a * in the catalogue.

Bids left after 10.00am on the sale day might not be placed so please ensure your bids are received by 9.45am. It may not be possible to execute bids received after the start of the sale. We encourage you to email your bids to us the day BEFORE a sale.

Conditions

1. The Auctioneers will endeavour to purchase lots at the lowest possible price.
2. If more than one bid for the same item is received, bidding will start at the under-bidder’s maximum bid.
3. The Auctioneers are not responsible for wrong lot numbers entered.
4. Successful bidders will be notified and items released only after receipt of payment.
5. Telephone bids: We can usually facilitate telephone bids on those lots with a minimum published estimate of £300. All such bids must be confirmed in writing and no responsibility is taken for incorrect transcription.
