A late 19th century Stanley presentation set of drawing instruments, within bound oak case, labelled to underside of silk lined lid 'Stanley, To H.M. Government, Great Turnstile, Holborn, London', label inset to lid 'Presented to Francis Teague Esq. M.I.E.E. as a Mark of Esteem from his Staff & Friends on the occasion of his leaving Coatbridge Electricity Works, to take up the position of Burgh Electrical Engineer for Paisley 1st Sept 1896', with velvet lined upper tray containing twenty-five instruments, several branded, second tray containing five Stanley wooden rules, a Stanley draughtsmans rule and further non Stanley examples; lower compartment with set squares and drawing equipment, with lower hidden draw containing paint trays, watercolour blocks, brushes and boxed Electric Construction Co Ltd chalk, Chinese ink stone type block, 36.8cm wide, 18.5cm deep x 17cm high Ivory submission reference K2SX9R42
