A George III mother of pearl inlaid tortoiseshell tea caddy, rectangular form with canted corners, ivory inlay and ball feet, the stepped domed cover opening to twin compartments with ivory handles and foil lining, the front inlaid in engraved mother of pearl floral scene including roses, thistle and four owls, with key, height 17cm, width 17.5cm, depth 11.5cm
