Provenance: Bought at The Leicester Galleries, Leicester Square, London, The Summer Exhibition July - September 1935, number 63, sold to Captain Algernon John Jameson and thence by descent, comes with the original bill of sale, cost was £63 in 1935.

Also, with a signed valuation report from St. Benedict's Studio Ltd, 106 Stafford Road, Wallington, Surrey, 1st September 1979, where it was valued at £6200.
