An antique family seal for the Jameson family (Jameson Irish Whiskey), red wax with relief decoration, 16cm diameter, within a hinged brass protective case with corresponding decoration, attached by a sash to an indenture, all within a lined and fitted box, marked 'WICKWAR MANUFACTURER, POLAND STREET, LONDON'.

Provenance: bought by the Jameson family descendant, our vendor, at Phillips Auctioneers, 101 New Bond Street, London, Sale number '30421 Medals', with buyers invoice dated 12th November 1997, also with a hand writtenn family tree.
