An early 18th century cross-banded figured walnut bureau, the hinged sloping fall front enclosing a fitted interior with a well, above two short and two long graduated drawers fitted with brass swan neck handles and shaped backplates, raised on bracket feet, 89cm wide. Inherited through Temple Twining and his daughter Valerie Twining (Twining Tea Company ) and kept within the family, inherited by the present owner in 2016 from Valerie Twining upon her death
