Ian P Hudson was born in Horsham, Sussex in 1950 and died in Headley Down, Hampshire in 2021 from Motor Neurone Disease. Between those dates he had a successful career in computing while indulging his own pleasures of opera design and singing, theatre prop and set design & construction. He also composed a symphony and adapted a Mozart libretto.

He visited various styles of painting over the years but latterly concentrated on abstract designs based mainly on scientific and mathematical formulae, and geometrical shapes.

Two of his paintings were commissioned by and hung in the offices of Radcliffe Chambers barristers, Lincoln’s Inn, London.
