An 18th century arched brass 8 day striking longcase clock dial and movement by William Carter of Ampthill, featuring an engved 'sun face' to the arch, above silvered chapter ring, silvered seconds dial, date aperture, between engraved decoration and dolphin and mask spandrels, contained within a later ebonised case, with a pendulum, two weights, removed bell, and a winding key, height 212cm, (a.f. - clock and case a marriage).
