Attributed to William Henry Blackburn (1918 - 1995): comprising a highly detailed pencil drawing of a periscope hidden within a statue of Adolph Hitler, with copious hand written notes, dated 1939, sheet 52cm by 22cm, a whimsical pencil and watercolour drawing depicting naked male figures and a bicycle with drinks trolley attached, with notes and poem, sheet ripped in an irregular shape, 22cm high, a pencil drawing of two figures outside a church, irregular shape, 17.5cm high, a woodblock print of huts, signed and dated 1939, sheet approx 20cm by 25cm, a woodblock printed greeting card for Christmas 1938, 14cm by 17.5cm, and a colour printed sheet 'Nancy of Bath', 19cm by 17.5cm, (6), (a.f.).

William Henry Blackburn was an award winning art director, painter, and photographer in both England and India throughout the 1940's to the 1980's, and working for Saatchi and Saatchi up until his death in 1995. His works have largely remained out of the public eye at his sons home since then, with just a few of his paintings in the hands of close family and friends or in a range of Museums across Great Britain and India.
