Car mascot / hood ornament: 'Britannia', silvered cast metal, impressed 'Vivat Rex' and 'REG 582850', on a radiator cap, total height 18cm.

"Vivat Rex" is a Latin phrase that translates to 'Long live the King!', and it is believed that these were produced as souvenirs to mark King George V's Coronation in June 1911, also, by repute, the vendor believes these were issued to British Governors cars.
