George J Bailey (20th century), 'Still life's with fruits, jug, bottle and wine glass on tables', a pair, oils on canvas, signed, labels verso for A. R. Whibley & Son Fine Art Dealers, Warwick Street, Worthing, 25cm by 20cm, inset matching ornate swept gilt frames.
According to one Galleries website George Bailey studied art at Richmond College of Art in Surrey, he lived and worked in Paris and The Netherlands, exhibited at the Royal Academy, London and at other London Galleries and had a one man exhibition at Segal's Gallery in Los Angeles, but we have not been able to verify this.
