An oak desk / writing table in the 18th century style, c.1900/1920, the low raised back fitted with a central hinged panel revealing a slide out writing stand, flanked on either side by a drawer, the surface in front of this being hinged to reveal a leatherette writing surface, above a configuration of five drawers, raised on eight barley twist supports terminating on block and bun feet united by turned stretchers, 197cm wide by 52cm deep.
