A 19th century mother of pearl fan with decorated pierced guards and sticks, the leaf decorated to one side with a classical scene of maidens and a cherub, the verso with ornate gilt decoration, 26.5cm, with silk finished fan box with label for V Marcot of London. Together with a vintage Chinese export fan with wooden guards and sticks, the leaf painted with figurative vignettes, 30cm, with box.
