A George III Channel Islands mahogany cased eight day striking longcase clock by Edward Carrel of St Aubin's, Jersey, decorated with bone inlay and ebony stringing, the scrolled pediment above a painted 13" arched dial with moonphase aperture, subsidiary calendar dial, subsidiary seconds dial, and twin winding holes, the ornate door flanked on either side by rope twist columns, the whole raised on a shaped apron and bracket feet, with pendulum, two weights, winding key, 232cm high, (af).
