A large scale antique engraving: 'The Relief of Lucknow, a Triumphant Meeting of Havelock, Outram and Sir Colin Campbell', by Charles Lewis after Thomas Barker, image 66cm by 125cm, giltwood frame with egg and dart moulded borders 98cm by 158cm, (a.f. - some condition issues).

This scene records the aftermath of one of the most traumatic episodes of the British involvement in India, when a siege that had lasted four months was finally lifted, the original version in oils is now in the National Portrait Gallery, London.
