Michael Cardew, an oval glazed dish with painted decoration of a fish and signed on base CM 1965 Abuja, 48cm by 37cm. This Michael Cardew dish was commissioned by the vendor whilst in Nigeria. Michael Cardew visited the mine where he worked for the day. This is probably a one-off as Michael Cardew said these were not his usual style.
