Hon. Col. Field Marshall Earl Roberts. A mahogany desk, the rectangular top with rounded corners above a drawer, on square tapered legs, 75cm, by repute believed to have been used by Earl Roberts in his campaigns, together with a book inscribed 'With love and best greetings for xmas and the new year from Nora Roberts for dear Cecil', and later inscribed and dated 1930 'This book was given by Countess Roberts, wife of Field Marshall Earl Roberts to Lady Wilson, wife of Field Marshall Sir Henry Wilson. It is now given by Lady Wilson's niece Violet Trench to Elsie Tribble in remembrance of her 15 years devoted and faithful service to Lady Wilson [...]', a copy of the order of service for the funeral of Cecil Mary Wilson, and a note from Norman Edward Adams, stepson of Elsie Tribble, certifying his belief the table also belonged to Earl Roberts
