A 19th century French boulle mantel clock, striking on a gong, the backplate stamped 14585 46 2, with a brass dial and enamel Roman numeral panels (maker's name worn), the waisted case with brass inlay and scrolling gilt metal mounts on red tortoiseshell, with a glass panel to the front and pierced fret sides, on gilt wood plinth, 34cm high excluding base, with key (a/f - with faults)
