A George II longcase clock, by Bickerton of Downham, the engraved arched silvered dial with scroll and floral spandrels and painted phase of the moon to the arch, eight day striking movement contained within a black and gilt lacquered case with panels of lovers surrounded by leaves, flowers and birds, the case surmounted by brass finials, 240cm
