An 18th century oak longcase clock, maker John Whitfield, Clifton (Westmorland), the 11 inch square brass dial signed, with gilt spandrels, the silverised chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals and secondary dial, the thirty hour movement striking on a bell, with pendulum and one weight. 188cm high
