A George III Scottish mahogany longcase clock, Alex McQueen, Edinburgh, the hood with swan's neck pediment and arch glazed panelled door incorporating column sides, the trunk with long door and shaped top, on rectangular base, the 12inch arch brass dial with silverised chapter ring and Roman and Arabic numerals, with date and seconds indicators and the four seasons figure spandrels with strike/silent lever and maker's name in arch, the eight-day movement striking on a bell, 207cm high
