An 18th century Irish mahogany cased 8 day striking longcase clock inscribed 'Henry La Trobe, Dublin', the 14" square brass dial with engraved subsidiary seconds dial and engraved subsidiary date dial, between the cherub spandrels, the case featuring a particulary ornate blind fret and scrolled pediment above fluted column pillars to the hood and trunk, raised on bracket feet, with twin weights, pendulum, winder and door key, 244cm (8') high, (af).
