Peter Ellenshaw (British, 1913 - 2007), a seascape oil painting used for the backdrop of titles for the film "Swiss Family Ronbinson", signed and dated top right, and with personal inscription from the artist (gifted to his friends, Jim and Mary in 1959 when he left Britain to live in California), further info verso relating to the painting and its history, 25.5cm by 58cm, unframed.

NB: William Samuel Cook "Peter" Ellenshaw was an English matte designer and special effects creator who worked for Hollywood Studios and was named a Disney Legend in 1993.
