A fine Georgian pique inlaid tortoiseshell tabatiere / snuff box, of oval form with yellow metal mounts, the hinged lid inlaid in yellow and white metals depicting a floral spray, inside the lid sits an oval miniature painting depicting four classical maidens, inscribed 'RICTOR AFTER RUBENS ANTWERP', 9cm wide by 7cm deep by 4cm high.
