NB: He attended Sunderland Art School & Derby College of Art. He was appointed chief of the Art department at Rolls Royce until 1972. His work is in the collection of HRH The Prince of Wales, the Sultanate of Oman & the Burnham Art Club. He was commissioned PLA to record the Silver Jubilee River Festival, and the 1995 Tall Ships Race, by the Forth Ports, and numerous other commissions worldwide. He was elected President of the Royal Society of Marine Painters (RSMA) ((1988-93). He has exhibited at the Royal Society of painters in Oils (ROI), New English Art Club (NEAC), Royal Society of British Artists (RBA), & SWIA.
