An antique Chinese blue and white porcelain covered box, probably c.1643, remnants of old label inside, 5.5cm diameter by 4cm high, Provenance: Private collection, comes with collector's hand written notes regarding their research relating to the Christie's auction in Amsterdam June 1984 of salvaged wares.

Together with three further antique Chinese blue and white porcelain covered boxes, one with attached label inscribed "Hatcher Collection Christie's June '84", and one bearing a faded handwritten label inscribed "c.1450 HOI AN SHIPWRECK", (4).
