An 18th century Chinese blue and white porcelain dish from the Nanking Cargo, painted with a traditional river ladscape and a cafe-au-lait underside, with Christie's Auctioneers lot number stillattached, and comes with a certificate of authentication.

NB: The Nanking Cargo refers to a vast collection of 18th century Chinese export porcelain and gold salvaged in 1985 from the Dutch East India Company ship Geldermalsen, which sank in the South China Sea in 1752. Recovered by Captain Michael Hatcher, the remarkably preserved blue and white porcelain was auctioned by Christie's in 1986.
