Two near identical antique Chinese blue and white porcelain wine cups, probably c.1640, painted underglaze with dragons chasing pearls of wisdom, 4.4cm high.

Provenance: Private collection, purchased from Mr Dupernex (a specialist Chinese ceramics dealer) 23rd April 1986, with receipt, also stating "ex Hatcher shipwreck".
