An antique Chinese blue and white porcelain covered box, probably c.1640/50, underside with label attached "Hatcher Collection Christie's June '84", 5cm diameter by 4cm high.

Provenance: Private collection, purchased from Mr Dupernex (a specialst Chinese ceramics dealer) 24th April 1985, with receipt, also stating "ex Hatcher shipwreck, transitionl period".
