Christine Gregory FRBS (1879 - 1963), 'The Spirit of Mischief', bronze figure on marble plinth base, the base inscribed 'The Spirit of Mischief by Christine Gregory Exhibited at Royal Academy 1915', combined height 44cm.

NB: Christine Gregory was one of the first female artist to become a member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors, a British charity established in 1905, which promotes excellence in the art and practice of sculpture, its headquarters are a centre for contemporary sculpture on Old Brompton Road in South Kensington, London, and is the oldest and largest organisation dedicated to sculpture in the UK.
