An unusual cast John Bull / bulldog novelty cigar cutter, 19th century, the bronzed metal figure of a bull dog wearing a jacket, waistcoat and top hat, mounted atop a turned wooden barrel, with removable stopper to back, the top hat covered with textured canvas, depressing to operate cutter to mouth, height 25.75cm
