A Chinese blue and white porcelain stem bowl, believed to be Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), the thickly potted bowl painted to the inside with a mythical creature amidst bands of stylised motifs, and to the outside with meandering foliage, the flared foot painted with waves, 13cm diameter by 7cm high.
