A Chinese pottery stem cup, believed to be Neolithic, c.3000BC - 2000BC, presents with signs of antiquity ageing and patination, 12cm high.

Provenance: Private collection, the vendor advises that this vessel was purchased from a Mr Tan, a Chinese antiquities collector from Singapore, and that it had come previously from an excavation at Longshan, Xiajiadian Culture.
